Thanks for stopping by!

I am a middle school Mandarin Teacher in California. This website is created for my students (5th to 8th graders) and all the other beginner to intermediate Mandarin learners out there! I aim to provide a squeaky clean, well-organized, and user-friendly website that makes both learning and teaching fun and fuss-free. 

I am most proud of the four levels of lessons that introduces Chinese to new learners, Memory Games that allow students to practice vocabulary in a fun way, Song Books with lyrics in Chinese, fun videos that introduce you to a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, games and activities that help students engaged in using the words and sentences, leveled reading materials perfect for different lessons, and resources listed under "Tools" for other Mandarin teachers looking for classroom ideas. Most recently, I added a new category named "Culture" with an emphasis on cultural topics and fun activities. Please check them out! It's a forever work-in-progress. Please expect frequent minor tweaks to the website as I teach.

Four Levels  

  • Young Beginner: Easy introduction lessons to Chinese; 
     

  • Level A Start here: formal beginner lessons;

  • Level B Further Learning: continue building vocabulary;

  • Level C Getting There: start immersive learning.
