Start 3: Radicals
Radicals are the most basic building blocks / smallest meaningful components of Chinese characters.
Being able to recognize radicals not only helps with memorization but also allows for a richer understanding of the language.
Mastering the most common radicals will make learning Chinese characters much easier!
Did you notice the 6 different characters all share the same radical? This radical means roof.
Some radicals are independent characters by themselves. They have their own sound.
